Eldest Jo-bro Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle have reached a massive milestone. The couple celebrated a decade of marriage at the end of 2019 and recently shared images from their anniversary party.

While their anniversary was back in December 19, 2019, Danielle recently took to Instagram to share images from their celebratory party that included an elaborate miniaturised version of their original wedding cake. Of course, their two daughters and the entire Jonas clan were also in attendance.

Back in December, Kevin shared a sweet message to honour his wife of 10 years. He wrote, “It is traditional for a husband to forget the anniversary of his marriage and how many years he’s been married. As you can tell today, that is not the case here. I remember the date we met may 23rd. The date we got engaged July 2nd, And of course the date we were married December 19th. I remember these not because I’m good with numbers. (I’m a musician, after all.) I remember them because they are the three most important days of my life. I guess not counting my birthday, since if I wasn’t born, I never would have met Dani. My wife of ten years. My best friend of twelve years. The love of my life.”

“I can not explain how amazing it is to look back on our journey together and to see how much we have grown together! You help me see my true potential in all things. You make me better, stronger, and show me what love is every day. So what I will say to my best friend, mother of my children, and forever love. This is just the beginning, we haven’t even started our journey and I can not wait for the next 10 and then the next. I love you to the moon and back.”

Danielle reciprocated with a loved-up post of her own.

I’m finally sitting down after yesterday. It was a day full of so much love! Kevin Happy 10 YEAR Anniversary,” she captioned the image. “You’re the most incredible man, amazing husband and father. I have watched you mature in the best of ways. You are everything I wanted in a man. You work so hard, you are strong, wise and loving. We have faced so many challenges in life good and bad but through those times we got even closer. That’s how I know that our love will be forever. I still can’t believe that I can call you mine. So thank you for all you do and all you are. These ten years have been the most amazing adventure and I can honestly say I love you more know then I ever thought I could ever love someone and i’m going to continue to remind you of it in every way I can every chance I get. ? Love you ?

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are #supercouplegoals. This Brazilian supermodel and American quarterback couple almost seems too pretty to be real. While many celebrity marriages seem to crumble after a few years, this one has lasted over a decade. This is their secret.

It may come as a surprise, but Gisele’s advice for a healthy marriage is incredibly simple: be attentive. Gisele believes that being present and in the moment is key to a lasting relationship. This comes in small but meaningful steps like putting the phone down when speaking to your partner and maintaining eye contact.

Speaking to The Guardian, the supermodel explains, “I’ve been with my husband for more than 12 years now and, as you know, men are very… They want a lot of attention. They’re like, they demand… They need a lot of attention, like children do, like your family, your friends. So I think the important part is to have fully present moments with everybody. I think that leads to fulfillment, because they don’t have half of you, they have all of you in that moment and then they get recharged.”

In 2019, the couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. Taking to Instagram, Gisele wrote, “I can’t believe it’s already been 10 years since we’ve chose to walk this life together… and what incredible 10 years we’ve had! There is nothing that I love more in this world than you and our family. Thank you for being on this journey with me and for doing the work that it takes to make it so special. May we continue growing together, walking side by side supporting and loving one another for many many years to come. Te amo tanto❤”

The Roman Catholic Church in Spain has recently introduced a new programme that will require engaged couples to enroll in a two-to-three year course designed to prepare people for marriage. This decision was created in the hopes of lowering the country’s high divorce rates.

Couples wanting to marry in a Roman Catholic Church in Spain are currently required to participate in 20 hours of marriage training, but priests argue that this is not enough time to prepare for a life-time promise.

Speaking at a press conference, Monsignor Mario Iceta, the bishop of Bilbao and the president of the conference’s subcommittee for the family and the defence of life said, “You can’t prepare for marriage in 20 hours. To be a priest, you need to spend seven years in the seminary, so what about being a husband, wife, mother or father? Just 20 hours?”

The high divorce rate is a cause for concern for many priests. Spain currently has the second-highest divorce rate in the world after Luxembourg. Many blame the “express divorce” law, which speeds up the process of divorce by removing the need for a trial separation. While there is no official data for the last few year, it is estimated that the rate sits at 60%.

To remedy this, the Spanish Episcopal Conference announced their latest voluntary programme for engaged couples called ‘On the Path Together’, designed to “accompany, prepare and help young couples towards the matrimonial vocation”.

The course is divided into 12 sections that focus on different aspects of a relationship, including ‘communication’, ‘fidelity’, ‘the beauty of sexuality’, and ‘conflict resolution’. Couples participating in the course will be required to attend the fortnightly sessions and practice ‘chastity’ throughout.

Many believe that wearing white to a wedding is downright sinful, but these bridal parties say otherwise. All-white bridesmaid dresses have been loved for many years by brides and stylists alike, and we can see why. Follow in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian and Kate Middleton by having your bridal party rock elegant white frocks.

The key to pulling off this trend is contrast. Even though everyone is wearing white, guests should immediately be able to tell who the bride is. Keep enough difference between your dress and your bridesmaid dresses so that the roles are clear. Here are some tips to do it right.

Detail, detail, detail:

Go big on detail for your wedding dress and simple for your bridesmaid gowns to create contrast. Using texture and fabric, a wedding gown can easily stand out and emphasize the bride.

Mix shades of white:

Bone, ivory, pearl, cream…white comes in so many tones. Another way to create a point of difference between the bride and the bridesmaid is to have gowns in different shades of white. Just remember that more than three shades can appear overwhelming, so don’t go too crazy.

Show some leg:

Keep the wedding dress a full-length gown and go shorter with your bridesmaid dresses. Shortening a gown makes it slightly less formal, thus making the bride stand out that much more.

Vikings are not only a thing of the past. There are many modern-day Vikings today across the world, many of whom still uphold the traditions of yesteryear. One such Scottish man decided to honour his heritage by tying the knot in full Norse regalia

Dwayne Davies from the Shetland village of Brae is a modern-day Viking. He can reportedly trace his DNA all the way back to the 9th Century and the Norwegian king, Harald Fairhair. Davies is particularly proud of this heritage and decided to honour it in his wedding to his bride, Ashley.

“I can trace my heritage back on my mother, Diane Johnston’s, side. My dad, Peter, is Welsh and came to work in Shetland, met mum and they married. But living on the islands has always made me hanker after my Viking ancestors,” Davies told Daily Record. “I have been fascinated by the Vikings on Shetland ever since I can remember. Their blood runs through my veins, so much so, that our wedding had to be a Norse one.”

For his big day, he made his own leather armoury and cut and stitched the breastplate by hand. He also carved Norse engravings into the breastplate. His hair was styled in ancient Norse plaits.

Their wedding day also followed Norse tradition, including a fiery torch parade and cake-cutting with a sword. Every table was named after Viking invasions of England.
