    – Reserva Ecologica Ojos Indigenas

    The Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park and Reserve (Reserva Ecologica Ojos Indigenas) is a 1,500-acre area owned and operated by the Punta Cana Ecological Foundation. Historians discovered that the Taíno Indians, former inhabitants of the island, referred to the lakes as “eyes” (ojos in Spanish) because of their distinctive shape and formation.

By the end of the 10 days, six couples came out engaged without ever having seen each other. This might seem wild enough on it’s own but the series goes even further. The couples then move in together and meet each others families before walking down the aisle to be asked whether “love is truly blind” and they commit to the partner they have known for about a month. As expected, the drama is high as the couples find out who the other person really is.

    Ways to give back while on honeymoon

    When you find your partner for life, you feel like the luckiest person on earth. Getting married and going on a honeymoon only adds to these feelings of good fortune. For some, this makes them want to spread the joy and abundance.

    A good way to do this is by spending your honeymoon giving back. The experience will bring you and your significant other closer together and will be a memory you’ll cherish forever. On top of that, only good can come from starting your marriage off on a charitable note.

    This is actually more common than you’d expect. For couples who love to give back, an alternative to honeymooning is slowly rising in popularity. The trend has been termed ‘honeyteering’. If you’re keen to use your honeymoon to give back, here are some ways you could do it:

    The rise of the buddymoon (instead of a honeymoon) has taken the world by storm. It has quickly become a popular trend, particularly with younger couples.

    Those couples who have already lived together for a while don’t feel the need for a honeymoon either. In the years gone by, honeymoons were important because it generally was the first time couples would get to be alone together. Today, this is not really the case so couples have become creative with celebrating.

    The result of this creativity is buddymoons. Celebrities have joined in on the fun too. Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats brought some extra company along for their honeymoon, and so did Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.

    Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux 

    The Friends actress, Aniston, and hubby Theroux had quite a star-studded buddymoon. The former lovebirds were accompanied by Courtney Cox, Chelsea Handler, Jason Bateman, Jimmy Kimmel and Tobey Maguire at the Four Seasons in Bora Bora.

    About the Buddymoon, Theroux said, “We had thought about it; we could just do a normal honeymoon or we could go with friends, keep the party going, relax and have fun.” Speaking to Extra, he said “It was a fantastic honeymoon. It was really special, it was really beautiful.”
