Love was clearly in the air this April as South African singer Brendan Peyper shared some heart-melting news with fans: he’s officially off the market.
Taking to social media on Monday , the Afrikaans hitmaker revealed that he proposed to his love, Marise van der Westhuysen, on 15 April 2026. And judging by the response, friends, family and fans couldn’t be happier for them.
While Brendan may have once searched for love on screen — appearing on the popular kykNET dating show Op My Eish! — it turns out his real-life love story unfolded away from the cameras. Sometimes, the best romances happen when you’re not looking.
Though the couple has largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, this milestone moment offered a rare glimpse into their journey together — one that has clearly been built on something meaningful and lasting.
