Cody Williams, the youngest child of the late and great Robin Williams, honoured his father by getting married on Robin’s birthday, July 21. The beloved comedian and actor would have been 68. Cody married his long-time sweetheart Maria Flores at his childhood home.

Yellow roses were held before a lit candle in remembrance of Robin and other late loved ones.

Cody’s sister Zelda shared the news over Instagram in a post in which she explained why July 21 is such a meaningful date for her. She stated that this date was also the last time she saw her dad before his passing. It became a tough day to remember but with the nuptials of her younger brother, it has brought a new, joyous meaning.

The 21st of July has meant many things to me over the years. It’s the birthday of one of my favorite souls still on this earth, @junotemple. It’s the day Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon (as a space nerd, that’s pretty damn important). And it was the day my Dad was born, and the last day I got to see him. That last one had begun to usurp the joy of the first two in recent years… that is, until two days ago, when it became something new. On the 21st of July, 2019, it became the day I officially gained a new sister! To @mariaaafloresssswilliams and Cody, you are a light in all of our lives. I’m so grateful to have paid witness to your love over the years, to have watched you grow and care for each other in ways we should all be so lucky to experience. You were already part of the family in my eyes, but now there’s an official slip of paper somewhere that agrees! Zak, Mom and I love you both dearly, and I think I can speak for all of us when I say CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BRIDE AND GROOM!!! ?????? ♥️ Photos by @cassievalentephoto

Louis Ducruet, grandson of legendary Princess of Monaco Grace Kelly, wed Marie Chevallier in an elaborate ceremony this weekend. The happy couple had a two-day wedding celebration that starting on July 26 in Monaco. The first day involved a civil ceremony and the matrimonial occasion was conducted by Mayor of Monaco, Georges Marsan. The couple celebrated in the gardens at the Prince’s Palace.

The lovebirds paid tribute to his royal grandparents by having their religious ceremony at the same cathedral in which they were married. They had their second nuptials at The Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate. Rainier III, Prince of Monaco and Grace Kelly wed there 60 years prior. They also visited the graves of his famous ancestors and placed flowers.

Her religious ceremony outfit was designed by Atelier Boisanger. She wore a silk zagar wedding dress embroidered with delicate chantilly lace. The dress took a total of 300 hours of embroidering to be completed.

After the religious ceremony, the bride changed into her third outfit. She opted for another Rosa Clará design. This time a lace dress with a deep neckline and a short hemline under an embroidered overskirt. The outfit was a short but sophisticated.

Most brides would give their right and left arm to be able to wear an Elie Saab original on their wedding day. To be able to adorn four of his gowns in one wedding is unheard of unless you marry his son of course. The Lebanese fashion designer’s son Elie Saab Jr married Christina Mourad on July 19 in an elaborate weekend-long affair. The three-day celebration took place in Lebanon and his new daughter-in-law had the privilege of wearing four Elie Saab gowns. Two were custom made just for her special day and the other two were part of his Haute Couture collection.

The pre-party celebrations had Mourad in a Haute Couture themed Fall-winter jumpsuit from the 2019/2020 collection.

For the wedding ceremony she wore a one-of-a-kind Elie Saab gown. The dress was made from ivory silk and included 500,000 sequins. It featured a high neck bodice along with a 4.5-metre train.

The special ceremony was held at Bkerké and the aisle was decorated with candles and lots of greenery. Neiman Azzi was the planner-extraordinaire behind the joyous occasion.

The beautiful bride changed into a second Haute Couture gown for the reception. A heart-shaped corset featuring a full skirt. This train was only 3.5-metres long. It was adorned with 650,000 sequins and 150,000 Swarovski Strass pieces.

The festivities were held in the mountain resort of Faqra in Lebanon and the guest list included Dita Von Teese, Sara Sampaio, and Lebanon’s Prime Minister Saad Hariri. The venue was transformed into a magical experience – table tops were covered with mirrors and the space included a massive moon sculpture.

To end off their lavish wedding weekend, Christina wore a beautiful dress from the Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2019 collection. It included a coral-shaped brooch from her father-in-law.

Their after wedding day party was held at Elie Saab’s home in Lebanon.

Both dresses took almost 900 hours to make. It also took 200 hours to tailor, 150 hours of draping, 450 hours of embroidery and 80 hours for the embroidery design. They employed a total of six tailors, three pattern makers, twelve embroiders and ten petite mains to get the gowns ready in time.

These days it’s not just their bodies that brides are getting into shape before the big day. Twelve months before my big day I consulted with several aesthetic doctors for a pre-wedding skincare routine and I absolutely fell in love with Dr Reddy from Medisculpt.

She wasn’t gung-ho to fill or botox me to ‘perfection’ which is why I adored her approach. Instead she analysed my skin and worked out a programme for the year ahead. Yes, I started my skincare routine a year before my wedding (one of the only things I did in advance) and the focus was on my pores and pigmentation.

For the first 6 months I alternated between gentle chemical peels and oxygen facials. In the last 6 months we started the famous Vampire facials, which we did every 8 weeks and the results were spectacular.

The week before my wedding I did an L.O.L facial. This was my absolute favourite! The results are immediate. A L.O.L facial is a Lift, Oxygen and Lights facial. Throughout my whole wedding weekend everyone kept saying, ‘You’re literally glowing you’re so happy’. Honestly, most of that glow was thanks to the L.O.L facial. In truth I was stressed out of my wit, barely eating and definitely not sleeping – all the worst demons for one’s skin.

No matter how good your make-up artist is, you cannot really cover bad skin and no matter how badly I was neglecting my body before the wedding, my skin remained flawless from the work we had done throughout the year.

Want maximum style for minimal effort? Try your hand at our quick styling tricks for hairstyles that work as hard as you play.

    1 The fresh princess

Create carefree beach waves by twisting damp or wet hair up into a coiled bun like model Gigi Hadid. Pin it up high for a modern top knot or at the nape of the neck for a more elegant chignon that you can wear from the beach to the bar. For a more chilled out style, release it when almost dry and shake loose carefree summer tresses. You can also refresh locks the-day-after-the-night-before by spritzing hair at the roots with a dry shampoo and giving it a quick blast of a hair dryer (powerful bathroom hand dryers work too in a pinch).

    2 The crimper

Rock a gentle version of on-trend crimping by plaiting sections of hair for an hour or two and then releasing. If you’re in a rush you can also seal the deal quickly by pressing each braided piece between a hair straightener for a few seconds. Not bold enough for a full head? Use just one or two sections of plaiting intermittently through hair, which you can release later in the day for a crimped effect.

    3 The city slicker

For that just-stepped-out-of-the-water sleekness, there’s nothing better than smooth, gelled-back hair. This look is so hot right now, and so perfect for summer. Comb hair back sleekly with a clear gel to keep the top smooth, then apply a bit of cream or conditioner to the lengths of the hair to maintain softness.
