    Get the look: Demi-Leigh’s wedding makeup

    Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters has been serving us looks for years, but her latest one might just be our favourite. The former Miss Universe tied the knot to American footballer Tim Tebow in spectacular style recently, and her bridal makeup has captured our hearts.

    Creating her own spin on soft glam, Demi-Leigh’s makeup artist, Renee De Wit, worked with the models stunning features to enhance her natural beauty on her big day. Here’s how to achieve Demi-Leigh’s soft glam face beat.

    Using a mix of Smashbox Studio Skin and Chanel Ultra le Teint foundation, De Wit created a dewy, flawless base. She completed the face with the Sensai highlighting concealer, Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in the shade Fresh Melon to give the cheeks a gentle flush of colour and the Dior Backstage Glow face palette to perfectly highlight Demi-Leigh’s cheekbones and the high points of her face.

    The focus of this look is definitely the eye makeup. De Wit opted for a soft brown smokey eye, using the Urban Decay Born To Run Palette and Dior 5 Colours 757 palette to create a blended crease shade. Remember to diffuse the shadows outwards towards your eyebrows to create a catlike effect that is ultra feminine.

    The lid shade comes from the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Palette. Chanel Waterproof eyeliner in Espresso smudged and layered with Bobbi Brown Long wear Gel liner pot mixed with Inglot Duraline sealer was used to achieve a soft angled liner.

    Line the lips with the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lip liner before filling in the centre with a warm mid tone nude. De Wit opted for MAC Retro Matte lipstick in Lady Be Good and the Bobbi Brown Brownie Pink lipstick. Of course, don’t forget to lock the look in with a stronghold setting spray. De Wit chose the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray.

    Inside the glamorous wedding of Mishka Patel and Donovan Loesch

    Much-loved Cape Town radio host and tv presenter, Mishka Patel, recently tied the knot to long time partner Donovan Loesch in an intimate ceremony in Stellenbosch. Mishka, who in 2014 was a finalist for Miss SA, presented tv show Pasella and is now a radio personality  at Good Hope FM, jokingly writes on her website she can’t believe she’s now a ‘wifey.’

    Their wedding was stylish and lavish, but not the extravagant, over-the-top affair you might expect from an A-lister. There were only 55 guests, but Mishka said that’s exactly how she and Donovan wanted it. “They were a group of people who played a positive and significant role in our lives,” she told Sarie.

    The two knew each other only six days when Donovan asked Mishka to be his girlfriend. Eight years later, they are more in love than ever! “I have a husband. How crazy Is that?” Mishka wrote on her website. “Some of you might think, after 8 years, ‘it’s about time’, but to me it feels like I met this guy, just the other day. How is this kind of love even real?”

    “Walking down the aisle was not what I imagined. It was more. With my dad walking me down the aisle to get married, to become a wife, still gives me goosebumps,” she added.

    In typical celeb style, Mishka wore two wedding dresses. Her first dress (worn for the ceremony) was a sleek JESUS PEIRO halter neck dress from Cathrine’s Bridal Couture. The second dress (for the reception) was a beaded strapless Casablanca dress called ‘Opal,’ also from Cathrine’s Bridal Couture.

    Inside the extravagant Somhale white wedding

    Not one to be out done, Idols SA judge Somizi Mhlongo made sure his second wedding to husband Mohale Motaung was even more lavish than their traditional wedding of 2019. The couple, dubbed Somhale, threw an extravagant white wedding on Thursday, January 30.

    The pair have been teasing details of the lavish celebration for months, and of course it was every bit as extraordinary as we would expect.

    A host of celebrities were in attendance, including Minnie Dlamini-Jones, Casper Nyovest, Khanyi Mbau, DJ Zinhle, Shimza, Lerato Sengadi, Thando Thabethe, Ayanda Thabethe and Bonang Matheba. Guests were instructed to wear white and red-bottom shoes.

    Right after heading former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters wedding to Tim Tebow, celebrity planner Zavion Khotse headed this extravaganza. Their wedding flowers were imported from Colombia, Holland, Thailand, and Kenya.

    According to reports, Somizi had three outfit changes, each of which were accessorised with different Christian Louboutin red-bottom shoes. Celebrity designer Gert-Johan Coetzee was at the helm of at least one of these looks.

    It’s been one week since Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and Tim Tebow tied the knot, and they’re letting us in on their big day. Both shared a beautiful 5 minute video showing fans an inside look into their nuptials.

    The pair got married at the La Paris Estate in Franschhoek on January 20, 2020. South African celebrity wedding planner Zavion Khotze organised the day. The former Miss Universe wore an off-the-shoulder cowl-neck dress by Davids Bridal. Demi-Leigh’s favourite performer, Matthew Mole, performed his original song “Pennsylvania” for their first dance.

    Pamela Anderson ties the knot for the fifth time

    Iconic beach babe Pamela Anderson is a married woman! After dating 30 years ago, the Baywatch actress recently tied the knot with her ex, producer Jon Peters, in a private Malibu ceremony on January 20.

    Anderson and Peters first met in the mid 1980s at the Playboy mansion when Anderson was 19 years old. Peters reportedly funded acting, dancing and singing lessons for the star during the very early stages of her career. The couple dated for a while and Peters even proposed but Anderson declined, citing their 22-year age difference as the main reason. He tells The Hollywood Reporter that he said to her, “In 30 years, our age difference won’t mean so much.”

    This is the fifth marriage for both Anderson and Peters. Anderson married Tommy Lee in 1995 but divorced in 1998. She married second husband Kid Rock in 2006 but they split a year later. Third husband Rick Salomon came in 2007 but their marriage was annulled in 2008. She then remarried Salomon in 2014 but they split again in 2015.

    The couple are incredibly private, and have very few photos together.

    Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Peters said, “Pamela has never seen her full potential as an artist. She has yet to shine in a real way. There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn’t love her so much. There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but – for 35 years – I’ve only wanted Pamela. She makes me wild – in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated.”

    Anderson shared a poem she wrote in dedication to Peters with The Hollywood Reporter.

    Following an exciting few days of pre-wedding activities, Demi-Leigh and Tim finally said ‘I do’ at the La Paris Estate. According to PEOPLE, their ceremony lasted 30 minutes and was attended by 260 guests. The couple wrote their own vows.

    Speaking to PEOPLE the night before the wedding, Tim said, “I want the vows to be perfect. I’m leaving in the traditional things like ’till death do us part,’ but I’m also adding some of my own things to it.”

    Demi-Leigh wore a beautiful custom gown by Davids Bridal and Tim wore a tuxedo by Antar Levar.

    The wedding blended South African and American wedding traditions, because their cultures are very important to the couple.

    “We’re both very traditional,” Nel-Peters told PEOPLE. “We wanted to look back at the wedding and see that it was intimate, elegant, and traditional. We definitely wanted it to be something that we could look back on and know that nothing was dated. We want to remember this day for the rest of our lives.”

    The day could not have come soon enough for this loved-up pair.

    “I’ve been looking forward to three things,” said Tebow to PEOPLE. “The first moment I see her in her wedding dress, the first kiss, and the first dance together as man and wife. It’s such a special night.”

    He continued, “I’ve been waiting my entire life for someone special, who I can spend the rest of my life with. I was waiting for the right person to come along. And now I’m marrying Demi. I can’t wait to see what our future holds. All of my dreams have come true. It was 100 percent worth the wait.”

    The pre-wedding festivities have been thriving this past week for former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and Tim Tebow. The couple gathered their closest friends and family for a weekend of celebrations in Cape Town.

    Their weekend started with a ‘Welcome to Africa’ cocktail dinner in the winelands to introduce Tebow to South African culture. Nel-Peters wore a stunning white dress by Gert Johan-Coetzee featuring a criss-cross neckline and cut-out detail, while Tebow wore a blush-toned suit.

    Is former Miss Universe getting hitched this weekend?

    We’ve been anticipating the wedding of our very own Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and American footballer Tim Tebow ever since they first announced their engagement over a year ago, and it finally looks like it’s time for them to walk down the aisle.

    Both Nel-Peters and Tebow have shared Instagram posts that suggest their wedding is very close. Nel-Peters has been in South Africa for a week already and has been spending time with friends while staying at the Palace of the Lost City – Sun City Resort.

    Eldest Jo-bro Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle have reached a massive milestone. The couple celebrated a decade of marriage at the end of 2019 and recently shared images from their anniversary party.

    While their anniversary was back in December 19, 2019, Danielle recently took to Instagram to share images from their celebratory party that included an elaborate miniaturised version of their original wedding cake.     Back in December, Kevin shared a sweet message to honour his wife of 10 years. He wrote, “It is traditional for a husband to forget the anniversary of his marriage and how many years he’s been married. As you can tell today, that is not the case here. I remember the date we met may 23rd. The date we got engaged July 2nd, And of course the date we were married December 19th. I remember these not because I’m good with numbers. (I’m a musician, after all.) I remember them because they are the three most important days of my life. I guess not counting my birthday, since if I wasn’t born, I never would have met Dani.     Jacques Kallis and wife Charlene celebrate first wedding anniversary
