Former Miss South Africa and Miss Universe, Demi-Leigh Nel Peters just gave us an intimate look into her engagement to Tim Tebow. Taking to Instagram, Demi-Leigh shared a beautiful IGTV video documenting the day the couple got engaged.

Tim proposed to Demi-Leigh in January 2019. Tebow had flown family members from across America and South Africa to Jacksonville, Florida to be a part of the proposal. Demi was told they were attending a late Tebow family Christmas dinner at their family farm and was surprised when it ended in a proposal.

In the video, Tebow can be seen leading Demi outside and professing his love for her.

“Ever since I first saw you, you gave me so much hope. When I first heard your voice, you gave me so much belief. When I first met you, I knew you were the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. And I will spend the rest of my life fighting for you and fighting for us,” said Tebow before going down on one knee to propose.

Tebow also flew Demi’s favourite South African performer Matthew Mole to Florida to serenade them post-proposal.

Both Tebow and Nel-Peters shared the video to their personal Instagram pages.

“Yes to forever ❤️One year ago today I said yes to forever with you @timtebow. It was the most magical day. The most thoughtful thing anyone has ever done for me. Certainly the biggest surprise. I knew it was you since date one. I can’t wait to be your wife… soon ? #TyingTheTebow”, Nel-Peters captioned the video.

The precious couple that got adopted by the nation, Nonhlanhla Soldaat and Hector Mkansi, finally had their dream wedding on December 31, 2019. After Hector was filmed presenting Nonhlanhla with a ring in a Gauteng KFC, the two went viral and their story became a homegrown legend.

The much-anticipated wedding took place on New Year’s eve as any celebration should. Laced with fairy lights, the venue was absolutely breathtaking and the white, champagne and rose gold colour scheme was magical.

Nonhlanhla’s pearl white dress was elegant, with a portrait neckline and no sleeves, which accentuated her figure perfectly. A small, understated bow on her waist tied the look together. She opted for a veil embroidered with lace and a stylish up-do with small white roses in her bun.

Her bouquet, like the flowers used in the ceremony and reception were all light peach and white roses, adding to the fresh-meet-glamorous feel of the day.

Hector was not to be overlooked either, wearing a very modern champagne coloured blazer and black bow-tie.

The two beamed and looked more in love than ever. You would never even guess that they’ve been married all along, and this was their second wedding! We wish them happiness and love.

Jasmine and Aladdin will have their happy ending, not only on stage, but in real life as well. Matthew Pomeroy, who plays Aladdin in the production at De Montfort Hall in Leicester in the UK, asked Natasha Lamb, who plays Jasmine, to be his wife during the curtain call.

“The last four years you’ve changed my life. You are the kindest, most caring person,” he said on stage. “Tash, I love you with all my heart. You’re my best friend and if you’ll let me… I want to share my life with you.”

Matthew, who is 30 years old, admitted that while he does not usually have stage fright, he was very nervous before this particular performance. He also made sure that both his and Natasha’s parents would be in the audience.

He told the BBC: “It was scary. I hadn’t worked out where to put the ring after my costume change for the finale as it didn’t have pockets – so when I bowed I thought it would fall out the belt.”

“I spend my life on stage – it’s my happy place. Proposing on there fits me perfectly,” he added.

Two best friends from the US, David Dobrik and Jason Nash are self-proclaimed pranksters and are always out to get one another. So, when Nash teased social media influencer Dobrik saying no one will ever marry him, Dobrik set out to prove him wrong. By marrying Nash’s mother!

Dobrik (22) filmed the whole episode and explained to Lorraine Nash (74) that it was all a joke. She didn’t hesitate to jump in and play along.

Dobrik took to Twitter saying “My friend told me I would never find love and get married. So I flew to his moms house and married her on the spot. Now that same friend is my stepson. True love always wins”

After leaving Jason and the rest of his family thoroughly stunned with the Las Vegas wedding and Hawaii honeymoon, the pair called it off a month later and filed for divorce.

Dobrik seems to have hit two birds with one stone, as he not only pranked his friend but also already got 10 million views on Youtube.

Hillary Duff and Matthew Koma have officially tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony that took place at the couple’s home. The reception was hosted in the backyard, making for a perfectly intimate affair.

Duff and Koma are reported to have an on-again-off-again relationship, but Duff confirmed the pair to be on again in December 2017.

“I think that you have history and a past with someone and love, and just because it doesn’t work out the first time, the second time, as long as there’s not too much damage done then it can always work out again,” she said.

Duff confirmed the marriage Sunday with a gorgeous Instagram post, captioned simply, “This.”

You know what Victoria Beckham wants, what she really really wants? Apparently, 14 wedding rings. The former Spice Girl has not one, not two, but a whopping 14 wedding rings that she’s amassed in her 20-year marriage to football star David Beckham. Some of the rings were from her husband, and some she purchased for herself. Altogether, her ring collection is estimated to be worth a casual £10-million. Let’s take a look at the rocks she’s got…

    Ring 1: 1998

Her first and official engagement ring, a 3-carat marquise-cut diamond on a yellow gold band was given to her in 1998 when she first said ‘yes’ to future husband, David.

    Ring 2 : 2001

Posh Spice replaced her marquise diamond with a platinum eternity band featuring a bevelled edge and white diamonds.

    Ring 3: 2003

Victoria debuted her newest ring, an emerald-cut diamond with side baguettes on a platinum band, in 2003. Bigger is clearly better in this case.

    Ring 4: 2004

To celebrate her 30th birthday, David gifted Victoria with a stunning soft pink oval-cut diamond with a halo setting.

    Ring 5: 2005

By 2005, Victoria upgraded yet again, this time with an estimated 17-carat pear-cut diamond on a platinum pave band.

    Ring 6: 2006

One coloured diamond is not enough. Victoria got her second one in 2006, this time an emerald-cut yellow diamond on a yellow gold pave band that she often paired with to eternity bands flanking it on either side.

    Ring 7: 2007

Victoria left us all green with envy with her next addition: a cushion-cut emerald with a platinum spiral setting.

    Ring 8: 2008

Looking incredibly similar to her 2006 ring, Victoria added another emerald-cut diamond to her collection. However, at 15 carats, this Chopard-designed ring is much larger.

    Ring 9: 2009

Victoria clearly has a thing for coloured stones. Her ninth engagement ring featured an oval-cut ruby with a diamond halo.

    Ring 10: 2010

At this point, Victoria’s rings are starting to look like the rainbow. She picked up a stunning oval-cut sapphire on a platinum pave band in 2010.

    Ring 11: 2010

In a surprisingly modest choice, Victoria’s 11th ring, an oval-cut pink diamond on a thin gold band, was much smaller than its predecessors.

    Ring 12: 2015

And we’re back to the flash. Coming in at number 12 is Victoria’s round-cut diamond with a halo setting and round side stones. However, this one had a short lifespan. After a few months of wearing it, Victoria placed it in a vault for safekeeping.

    Ring 13: 2016

This woman clearly loves diamonds. She debuted her 13th ring, a square-cut diamond on a platinum pave band, at Cannes Film Festival in 2016.

    Ring 14: 2018

Victoria’s latest rock is no secret. The square-cut yellow diamond sits on a platinum pave band.

Royal weddings have a special place in our hearts, simply because they are so vastly different from every other kind of wedding there is. Everything is done on a big scale and according to tradition. Certain rules and do’s and don’ts apply. Procedure must be followed and the bride and groom almost seem to be bystanders. Still, it’s nothing short of a fairy tale the day the royal bride steps out in her beautiful dress.

Princess Beatrice of York is the daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and of course, granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II. However, news of her engagement to Edoardo Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi had been overshadowed by a recent scandal involving her father, and not much is known about the wedding details. Here is what we do know.

Her platinum engagement ring was designed by Shaun Leane and has a 3.5 carat round diamond set in an art deco design, with tapered baguettes on each side of the centre.

The couple is not allowed to reveal their wedding date until the Queen approves the reveal. According to Express.co.uk, a friend of the couple said they will reveal the wedding date early in the new year. The wedding is rumoured to be in the “early summer,” which could be anything from May to June.

Regarding the venue, the general thought was that they would tie the knot at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, where Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, as well as Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank. However, reliable intel now points toward The Guards’ Chapel at St James’s Park, which serves military members and their families.

One of Hollywood’s favourite actresses, Emma Stone, is ending the decade an engaged woman. The Oscar-winning actress recently said yes to her Saturday Night Live (SNL) writer boyfriend, Dave McCrary.

The pair first met on set of SNL when Emma was hosting the show back in 2016. They have been together for about two years. The couple is quite private, keeping their relationship under wraps from the beginning, and have been spotted together publicly only a handful of times.

Taking to Instagram, Dave announced their engagement. Stone’s antique-style engagement ring, one of 2020s biggest ring trends, is in full view.

The year of 2019 has been a wild ride. We’ve seen ‘Old Town Road’ claim the charts for far too many weeks, Game of Thrones finally came to an end (and ruined the entire show but we’re not talking about that), and a host of our favourite celebrities got engaged.

Before we usher in the new decade, let’s take a look back at some of the biggest, most exciting celebrity engagements of 2019.

    Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez

Back in March, the baseball star proposed to Jenny from the Block with a whopping 16-carat diamond ring estimated to cost somewhere between $1 million and $4.5 million.

This couple has had a whirlwind romance. They began dating in late 2018, announced that they are expecting a child in June 2019, and got engaged in August. Their engagement, however, was short lived, and they wed in an intimate ceremony on September 25, a month and one day after they got engaged.
