Ever the drama queen, people may be surprised to hear that Paris Hilton is taking a more demure approach to her future wedding day.

While she has always dreamed of a “fairytale” wedding, Paris says she is perfectly fine with a more intimate celebration in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

“When I was a little girl, I had dreams of this big fairytale wedding. But with the pandemic, it’s a new world,” she told OK! magazine. “Instead, it’s maybe going to be more intimate – and with my family. It’s a day I’ve been dreaming about my whole life and now I’ve found my Prince Charming, I just can’t wait.”

Hilton and Reum, a businessman and family friend, have been dating since November 2019. They have known each other for 15 years, and have been together for over a year.

“I’ve known him for 15 years. Then [Reum’s sister Halle Hammond] invited us to Thanksgiving and we just had this incredible chemistry. We had our first date and haven’t spent a night apart since. It’s pretty amazing,” she told People Magazine.

“After my last breakup, I thought I was going to be alone forever,” she says. “I was like, I give up. I’ll just focus on myself. I don’t need anyone. So to have actually fallen in love, I just feel so grateful.”

In a post on their one-year anniversary, Paris wrote: “I love that we celebrate our love every month! I can’t believe it’s only been a year. It feels like I’ve been with you a lifetime! Love you forever my twin flame, my best friend, my other half, my partner for life. And I can’t wait for our future and a lifetime of love and adventures.”

Hilton was previously engaged to model Jason Shaw and Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis in the 2000s, and called off her engagement to actor Chris Zylka in 2018.

After a whirlwind season unlike any we’ve ever seen before, The Bachelorette’s Tayshia Adams has given out her final rose and is engaged to contestant Zac Clark.

The two-part finale of The Bachelorette was, unsurprisingly, dramatic from beginning to end. It saw contestant Brendan leave by choice during his Fantasy suite date, Tayshia send fan-favourite Ivan home and the return of Ben, who was eliminated during Hometowns week.

Ultimately, Tayshia’s heart was clearly with frontrunner Zac. She sent Ben home during their final date because she knew she was going to pick Zac at the end.

The pair then became engaged during the finale episode in a tear-jerker of a scene. Zac proposed with a 3.25 carat Neil Lane ring. Of course, Tayshia accepted and the pair rode of into the sunset in a makeshift taxi.

“If you had told me in March that I’d be getting engaged at the end of the year, I would not have believed it for a second,” Adams told PEOPLE. “But I want to experience life with [Zac] by my side. He’s what I’ve always wanted.”

As if the season was not dramatic enough being filmed at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in America, it was made even more complicated when the original lead decided to leave the show a few weeks into filming.

Adams was the second Bachelorette to lead the season, after first pick Clare Crawley left the show with contestant Dale Moss two weeks into filming. The pair formed a fast connection from the minute filming began in June and became engaged during the show’s fourth episode, right before Adams came to replace Crawley as the lead. This is the first time in Bachelor history that a lead had to be replaced mid-season.

This is the second engagement for both. Sharapova was previously engaged to former Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Sasha Vujacic before splitting in 2012. Gilkes was once married to designer Misha Nonoo, who is known for being the friendly matchmaker who set up Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The pair divorced in 2016 after 13 years together.

Actor Jonathan Bennett, best known for his role as Aaron Samuels in the cult-classic film Mean Girls, is engaged! The actor said yes to boyfriend Jaymes Vaughan, who proposed in a truly memorable way.

According to PEOPLE Magazine, Vaughan went down on one knee and proposed with an original song he wrote for Bennett.

“He wrote me a song! We would always hear songs and think, “Oh that would be our song if just this part or that part were different,” so as a result we didn’t have a song that was “ours”, Bennett told PEOPLE.

Jaymes added: “So while he was in Canada filming The Christmas House for Hallmark, I took a melody that up until now had only be accompanied by chopsticks on my voice notes, and got together with my friend Tanzer, who happens to be a really talented producer and my favorite person to write songs with, and said “Let’s make this magical for Jonathan.” ”

Under the guise of taking family Christmas card photos, Vaughan gathered their closest family together to share in the special moment. He held a sign that read: “We never did find our song, so I wrote it for you,” which caused Bennett to burst into tears when he realised what was happening.

As their song played in the background, Vaughan got down on one knee to propose.

Actress Megan Markle shocked the world when she announced her engagement to Prince Harry. The style icon opted for an unusal ring design that stands in stark contrast to sister-in-law Kate Middleton’s sapphire sparkler.

The couple announced their engagement at the Sunken Gardens of Kensington Palace on November 27, 2017, about a year after they went public with their relationship.

Wearing a white overcoat and nude heels, the actress went understated with her outfit to allow the focus to be on her engagement ring. The design did not disappoint.

Decorating her ring finger was a three-stone stunner, set on a gold band featuring a cushion-cut centre diamond from Botswana, a country close to Prince Harry’s heart.  Surrounding the centre stone are two round diamonds that once belonged to his mother, the late Princess Diana. The ring was made by royal jeweler Cleave and Company.

Come wedding day, the Duchess of Sessex was presented with her wedding ring, an elegant yellow gold band. The ring was a gift from Queen Elizabeth and, following tradition, was made from rare Welsh gold.

Queen Elizabeth I, Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Margaret, Princess Anne, and Princess Diana’s wedding rings were all fashioned from the same nugget of Welsh gold which came from a Welsh mine, Clogau St David’s at Bontddu. This gold is more valuable than gold from Australia or South Africa.

While there is only a sliver of the original gold left over, the Queen owns a large nugget of 21 carat Welsh gold which is held by the Crown Jewellers to be used for the royal wedding rings of today. Sarah, Duchess of York, Duchess Kate, and Duchess Meghan Markle all sport wedding bands made from this nugget.

Markle’s marvelous ring underwent a redesign during her pregnancy. Celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz resized and reset the ring to replace the gold band with a thin, yellow gold band set with micro-pavè diamonds.

After son Archie was born, Prince Harry gifted Megan with an eternity ring designed by Lorraine Schwartz. It features a channel setting with gold trim flanking each side of the ring. In another sweet addition, the birthstones of the young family (peridot, emerald, and sapphire) are inlaid on the underside of the ring.

The beautiful ring has a round centre diamond on a delicate white gold, pavé band. According to Brilliant Earth’s SVP of Merchandising and Retail Expansion, Kathryn Money, it appears to be a 1.5-to-2-carat diamond. It is estimated to cost between approximately $15,000 to $40,000.
