Grooms these days have endless options when it comes to wedding attire. Even the most extra groom can voice his wildest dream-suit, we bet it’s out there. Depending on hubby-to-be’s personality, the dress code and the theme and colour scheme of the wedding, colourful suits can be stunning and shine bright to make your wedding day extra memorable.

Remember, certain patterns pair well with certain colours and we recommend wearing a plain tie with a printed suit, and vice versa.

    Let’s take a look at what’s hot.

The turn of the century has seen some exciting new trends emerge, with one of the biggest in bridal makeup being the “barely there” makeup look. But trust us, as simple as it looks, it’s not so easy to get it just right. The most important thing to remember is that less is more and you want to look radiant, not weighed down by make-up. Let your natural beauty shine through with a ‘no makeup’ makeup look.

If you’re doing your own makeup for the big day, or even just want to keep this look going on your honeymoon, we’re here to help. Choose neutral colours that are right for your skin tone and avoid over-application. The aim is not to see the makeup, rather the effect thereof.

Check out these step by step tutorials on how to nail this airy look.

    -For darker skin tones:

    -For lighter skin tones:

Remember, these are just guidelines and each bride might feel comfortable with something different. Play around with makeup to see what makes you feel the most beautiful. And most importantly, have fun!

Wedding photographers who want to stay ahead of the game do not have an easy job. These days, each wedding’s pictures are more stunning than the next and there are endless trends and styles depending on the couple’s vision.

A massive wave hitting the industry -unexpected amongst the bloom of nature-focused weddings- is the city skyline. Think urban jungle with a sleek twist. This shoot can be classy, modern and cutting-edge. Here is some inspiration if you feel that way inclined:

Black, unnoticeable socks for men are boring, even at formal events. In the olden days, if a man’s socks stuck out of his trousers’ pants, eyebrows would rise. Today, men proudly wear bright and colourful socks to formal events to stand out and add a bit of personality. They can decide on a theme or colour scheme and match, or each man can wear his own unique pair.

Here are some ideas for your groom and his groomsmen if they want to take a walk on the wild side!

The days of having to invite your cousin twice removed and your grandmother’s brother’s children, whom you have never even met, to your wedding are over. These days, where the economy is tight for everyone except the royals and celebs, every penny counts and it really has become more common to have smaller, intimate weddings. That way, you can spend the day (and your hard-earned money) with the people that are closest to you and are part of your everyday life.

Thus, we present to you: The microwedding. This means usually no more than 30-40 guests in total. The best part is, if you do have a more flexible budget, you can throw an extravagant affair and cater to everyone’s needs. You also get to spend more time with each person, so you have great memories with everyone who shares in your special day.

This also means you can have a destination wedding with ease, as the practical arrangements are way simpler and the planning overall is way easier.

    Just today, we received an enquiry from a “low-key” couple who wants an elopement that matches their personality. If you’re like them who do not like anything grand, crowded, noisy, or stressful, you can have a ceremony like this on the cliffs of Northern Ireland. ✈ ? ? ⠀⠀ .⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀ Behind the lens @iainthephotog⠀ Planned by us @peachperfectwed⠀⠀ Musician @acoustic_melodies_ni⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #CliffWedding #NorthernIrelandElopement #JustElope #DestinationWeddings #bridalmusings #castleruinwedding #castlesofinstagram #dreamcastlewedding #dreamweddings #letselope #microweddings #uniqueweddings #tinyweddings #intimateweddings #uniqueweddings #uniqueweddingvenue #uniqueweddingvenueideas #uniqueweddingideas #northernirelandwedding #Irishwedding #instawedding #elopement #elopetonorthernireland #elopingtonorthernireland #elope #elopement #smallwedding #weddingpackage #elopementplanner #weddingplannernorthernireland

US filmmaker Lee Loechler is the man of many a Disney-lover’s dreams. He had a few tricks up his sleeve when he took his unsuspecting girlfriend, Sthuthi David, on a date to watch her favourite movie, Sleeping Beauty.

A partner in crime filmed the two watching the movie, when suddenly the well-known scene of the prince about to kiss the princess changes into something quite unusual. First, the characters’ faces change to resemble Lee and Sthuthi, and then things take a different turn. Sthuthi looks confused, then the on-screen prince takes a ring box out of his pocket and throws it out of the screen for Lee to catch!

“I love you with my whole heart, including all of its ventricles, atriums, valves… She’s a cardiologist,” he tells the crowd. “Sthuthi David, M.D., will you live happily ever after with me?” he asks.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Watch how the fairy tale unfolds:

Singer Ellie Goulding, who made headlines with an especially elaborate wedding during which she wore six different outfits, has just released a never-before-seen picture of the glamorous affair. As it turns out, she and hubby Caspar Jopling had a second wedding reception the day after, that the public never even knew about!

“Here’s me, dancing on my own with a wee bottle of Moët, on the Sunday after my wedding #ThrowbackThursday,” the icon captioned her Instagram picture of her in a darling dress.

The white, long-sleeved dress drips with old-time charm, elegance and looks like the perfect post-wedding dress to keep the feels going. In fact, she does look like she’s still on cloud nine!

The pair got hitched in August of 2019 with some rather A-list guests including Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, and Sienna Miller.

Take a look at the dazzling event here and take a look at all her show-stopping outfits here.

Your wedding pictures are an exciting part of the big day- make them count! The world over, celebrities and royals make the news with the all-important wedding kiss picture. And yes, it is cliche but you want it anyway. Here are some of our favourite things to do for this very special picture:

    Glitz & glam
On your wedding day, you can be a diva all you want. Incorporate glitter and it won’t be just your eyes that sparkle. Just make sure it’s eco-friendly glitter!

    Let the festivities begin
Getting hitched is cause for celebration. Use sparklers to light up your life.

    Fairy tale
Get wrapped up in fairy lights for a romantic glow.

    Get back to nature
Flowers are always a good idea, creating a playful atmosphere.

    Play with sunlight
Catching those last rays on film during the golden hour never gets old.

Here’s the thing. Plus size is not a category. It is all the different body type categories in a bigger size. As such, there is no one-size-fits-all. Essentially, the secret to looking stunning is actually dressing for your figure in the right size. The biggest mistake many ladies make is to buy a dress that is too large, or necessarily loose fitting. That will only make you look bigger than you actually are. They key to success is to ask someone you trust- maybe a friend or even professional stylist- what styles flatter you the most, and then make sure you get it in the right size for you. Not a size too small (rookie mistake) and definitely not too big (there’s no need to).

If you can identify your best attributes, accentuate them and cover the less great parts (we all have them) you will be the best version of yourself and beam with confidence. Here is some inspiration to get you going:

Accentuate your shoulders, disguise your torso:

    Balance out top and bottom:

    Accentuate your legs:

Cover your arms, accentuate your hips:

We know, we know. They get stuck in things, they can trip you up and it gets dirty. But you can’t deny: It is gorgeous! Dresses with longs trains are synonymous with royalty, as the princesses of the world have sported dresses with record-breaking trains. However, you can still pull it off if you feel so inclined. We recommend you appoint your bridesmaids to help you carry it when you walk over dirty places, but other than that, we feel you should just enjoy it. Don’t shy away from beauty in the name of practicality.

If you want a train, you get one. Here is some modern-day inspiration.
