They liaise with their clients either by email or by meeting in person at their bakery, until they are happy with the final design of their cake or cupcake order.
Typically their clients provide them with the basic details of their order and they compile a number of different options with various images and ingredients suggestions, and they then continue reworking the design with their client’s input down to every last detail, until their perfect cake has been realised.
