Demi Lovato won’t wear white on her big day

Newly-engaged songstress Demi Lovato is already planning her big day. The 28-year-old singer and former Disney star got engaged to actor Max Ehrich in July, and already knows what she won’t wear.

“I have my image for what I would want it to [look like] if I got to do a big celebration. I don’t wanna give it away but it’s definitely not a white dress,” Lovato told PopCrush.

Lovato admits to the outlet that she has already been looking at wedding dresses, although the COVID-19 pandemic has hampered plans. She is even considering eloping.

“On one hand, I would love to elope because my life is so public and I want to keep it sacred between me and him. On the other hand, I want my friends and family to be there for a celebration, but I can’t do that until the pandemic’s over ’cause it’s not safe,” she shared. “It’s like, do we do that [elope] in the meantime and do that [a big wedding ceremony] later? It’s all this planning.”

Lovato and Ehrich got engaged on July 22, a few months after they went public with their relationship. Ehrich popped the question while on the beach in Malibu, California.

While they haven’t been together for that long, Lovato explains that quarantining together accelerated their relationship.

“We were able to share this time together that we wouldn’t have normally gotten to spend. And that accelerated our relationship on a level that you can’t really explain to people, but quarantine either makes or breaks the deal,” Lovato said on The Morning Mash Up on SiriusXM Hits 1. “And it really made that. So I’m really blessed, really fortunate and continuing to count my blessings every day.”

Prince Philippos of Greece announces engagement to Nina Flohr

Another royal wedding is on the way. Prince Philippos of Greece has popped the question to longterm girlfriend Nina Nastassja Flohr.

The prince proposed during a summer vacation in the Greek island of Ithaca. Of course, she said yes.

“Their Majesties King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie are delighted to announce the engagement of their youngest son HRH Prince Philippos to Nina Nastassja Flohr, daughter of Thomas Flohr and Katharina Flohr,” the monarchs office wrote in an official statement.

Flohr recently shared some sweet snaps from their engagement, writing: “My dearest Philippos. I love you today, I will love you tomorrow and forever. You make us happier, better and stronger. I cannot wait to spend the rest our lives together ”

Greece abolished their monarchy in 1973 but royals still retain their titles. The prince works as a hedge fund analyst in New York City, and his future bride is a creative director for her father’s company VistaJet.

Their wedding may be a long time coming, considering the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Philippos’s older sister, Princess Theodora of Greece is also engaged and was meant to marry fiancé Matthew Kumar in May 2020 but had to postpone due to the pandemic.

They celebrated what would have been their wedding day with a small get together.

Liam Payne reportedly engaged to Maya Henry

It seems former One Direction star Liam Payne is off the market! The singer has reportedly popped the question to girlfriend Maya Henry after two years of dating.

According to the Daily Mail, Payne proposed with a stunning diamond that cost him a whopping £3 million. The private couple is said to have gotten engaged during lockdown.

While neither of them have confirmed their engagement, the couples were spotted out for dinner in London on Thursday, August 27 and Henry’s dazzling rock was on full display.

Payne and Henry met back in 2015 at a One Direction meet-and-greet fan event when Maya was only 15. Three years later, they were spotted together for the first time in August 2018 after the musician split from Cheryl Cole, with whom he shares a son.

Christiano Ronaldo may be a married man soon. The famed footballer and girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez have the rumour mill churning after posting pictures to social media suggesting a recent engagement.

The longtime couple are currently on holiday in Spain and appear incredibly loved-up. They each recently posted the same cryptic image to their social media, with Christiano captioning it “Mi amor” (my love) and Georgina going with the simple caption “YESSS” along with a red rose emoji.

Fans quickly began to speculate that the pair recently became engaged.

The pair have been together for four years, and met at a Gucci store in Madrid where Georgina once worked. Georgina describes their meeting as love at first sight for them both.

Marriage does seem to be in the near future for the pair. In an interview with ITV, Ranaldo told Piers Morgan: “She helped me so much. Of course, I’m in love with her. We’ll be [married] one day, for sure. It’s my mom’s dream as well. So, one day. Why not? It’s great. She’s my friend. We have conversations. I open the heart for her and she opens the heart for me,” he added.

‘Love is Blind’ star Kenny Barnes engaged

After being left at the altar, Kenny Barnes has found love again. The ‘Love is Blind’ star recently popped the question to girlfriend Alexandra Garrison.

He proposed on August 7 at the Duke Mansion in Charlotte, North Carolina. His original plan to propose at the Biltmore Estate where they had their first date fell through due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Barnes took to Instagram to announce their engagement.

“Fiancé has a nice ring to it…Alexandra and I are excited to announce our engagement! To all of our friends, family and acquaintances, thank you for the continued love and support – we appreciate everyone and cannot wait to celebrate this next step together,” he wrote.

Barnes and Garrison have been dating a little over a year, and they met after he appeared on the Netflix dating series. His younger sister Anna introduced the pair.

“Alexandra and Anna had been friends for nearly three years while living in Charlotte and when I came to town to help move Anna, I met Alexandra at the brewery, Wooden Robot,” Barnes tells People.

“What’s funny is that there was apparently an ‘inside joke’ among their friends that Alexandra should date me. Alexandra knew who I was during that entire three-year period, but since we lived in separate cities and had never met, there was never an opportunity to entertain anything.”

Barnes knew she was the one from an early stage.

“There are definitely moments in the early stages of our relationship where the thought crossed my mind, but the moment that sticks out most is when she and I stayed up looking at the stars during a summertime trip to Lake Gaston,” he tells Peopls. “We talked for at least six hours and ended up falling asleep on the couch upstairs. It was then that I knew we were on the same page and that we were meant to be.”

Barnes was famously engaged to costar Kelly Chase on the Netflix reality show Love is Blind, where participants had to build a romantic connection with someone without ever seeing them in person. Barnes and Chase seemingly fell in love before physically meeting and became engaged.

However, once they met and began to live life as a couple, cracks began to appear. In the show’s finale, Chase said “I don’t” and left Barnes at the altar.

Reflecting on his time on the show, Barnes says it was a necessary learning experience.

“It was physically and emotionally draining but allowed me to become more in tune with myself and what I wanted in a partner. The most important thing I learned was how to honor and love the things that truly make me happy. To take those things and, instead of catering to someone out of convenience, find someone that truly has your best interest in mind to share it with.”

Glee star Jenna Ushkowitz is engaged

Glee star Jenna Ushkowitz, who played Tina Coheng-Chang on the hit show, is engaged to boyfriend of two years, David Stanley.

Ushkowitz took to Instagram to announce the engagement, sharing a photo with her new fiancè and their french bulldog, Bear. Her sparkling engagement ring is also visible in the image.

The engagement comes after much heartbreak for the Glee cast, who tragically lost co-star Naya Rivera in July.

When news of Rivera’s death broke, a devastated Ushkowitz wrote a meaningful message to her late friend.

“There are no words and yet so many things I want to say, I don’t believe I’ll ever be able to articulate exactly what I feel but… Naya, you were a ⚡️ force and everyone who got to be around you knew it and felt the light and joy you exuded when you walked into a room. You shined on stage and screen and radiated with love behind closed doors,” she wrote.

Lady Amelia Spencer engaged to SA sweetheart

Lady Amelia Spencer, the daughter of Earl Spencer and niece of Princess Diana, is engaged to be married. The cousin to Prince William and Harry said ‘yes’ to her university sweetheart, Greg Mallett on July 22.

Amelia grew up in the country along with siblings Lady Eliza Spencer, Louis Spencer Viscount Althorp and Lady Kitty Spencer, who is engaged to South African-born Michael Lewis, the chairperson of Foschini Ltd.

She met Mallett at the University of Cape Town, where they were both students. They have been together for 11 years.

Mallett popped the question at the Clouds Wine & Guest Estate in Stellenbosch.

“So this was the best day of my life. 22nd of July 2020, I asked the love of my life to spend the rest of her life with me and she said YES. Couldn’t be happier and I love you with all my heart @ameliaspencer15,” wrote Mallett on Instagram.

Songstress Demi Lovato shocked fans when she announced she recently became engaged to actor Max Ehrich. She has shared even more details of their special proposal, and we dare you not to cry…

Ehrich went down on one knee to propose to Lovato on July 22 in Malibu, California. They have both taken to Instagram to write emotional messages to one another to honour their engagement.

“When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his ‘little partner’ – something that might’ve sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent. To me it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I’m officially going to be someone else’s partner,” Lovato wrote on Instagram when sharing the news of their proposal.

“@maxehrich – I knew I loved you the moment I met you. It was something I can’t describe to anyone who hasn’t experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too… I’ve never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all. You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself. I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage. Ehrish shared the same pictures and wrote, “You are every love song, every film, every lyric, every poem, everything I could ever dream of and then some in a partner in life. Since the announcement, both Lovato and Ehrich have shared more images from their special moment, which Lovato called the best day of her life. Two days after their proposal was the two-year anniversary of what Lovato calls her ‘miracle day’, marking the day doctors saved her life after she suffered from a drug overdose in 2018.

“Only two years after that terrible day, I’m engaged to the love of my life, and I can genuinely say I feel free of my demons,” she wrote on Instagram. “I never thought this feeling was possible. And it’s not because I fell in love (although that didn’t hurt), but because over the past two years, I’ve done more work on myself than I have in my entire life.”

“Long before I had an engagement ring on my finger, I had the word ‘me’ to remind myself that no matter what, I vow to love myself. You can’t fully love another without loving yourself first.”
