Sugar ‘n Ice was started in 1997 by Kate de Waal, a Grand Diplome student from the Silwood School of Cookery, a world renowned culinary institution in Cape Town. Since then they’ve been creating “Handmade Cakes of Distinction” encompassing a variety of wedding and special occasion cakes from the traditional to the more contemporary and have developed thousands of styles in the past 21 years.
They specialise in weddings and all special occasions (anniversaries, baby showers, birthdays, christenings, kitchen teas, etc.) Their Cakes are handmade to order and receive their personal attention to detail while designing your cake according to your specifications.
